🪴Looking to visit one of the world’s great gardens? You’ll find it in Pennsylvania’s Brandywine Valley, within a few hours of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, DC, and New York City.

@LongwoodGardens is a must-visit destination just outside Wilmington, Delaware. ⛲️ With more than 1,100 acres of gardens, stunning conservatories, seasonal blooms, and spectacular fountain shows, it’s easy to spend an entire day exploring. I especially love the bonsai collection and the beautiful West Conservatory, which opened as part of the Longwood Reimagined project in 2024.

I’ve visited three times, and each experience has been completely different. There’s truly always something new to discover, no matter the season.

😎 Here’s what my first tandem hang gliding experience was really like.

Just 15 miles from my home base in Chattanooga, I headed to Lookout Mountain Flight Park in Walker County, Georgia with two new travel friends for an adventure I won’t forget anytime soon.

The wildest part? I had only met @sightseeingsenorita and @wherekatieis less than 24 hours earlier. 👯‍♀️

That’s the magic of the @witsummit. This annual travel creator conference brings together women who are passionate about exploring the world and sharing stories that inspire others to do the same. It was my second year attending, and once again I left with new friendships, fresh inspiration, and memories I never could have planned.

I went skydiving when I turned 21 and bungee jumping in graduate school, so I guess my early 30s were due for another adventure. If you’re wondering whether hang gliding was scary, honestly, not really. It felt surprisingly peaceful. Floating above the mountains, I felt completely safe and was able to soak in the incredible views.

@lookoutmtnflightpark has been operating for more than 40 years and is home to some of the world’s top hang gliding instructors. If hang gliding is on your bucket list, I highly recommend doing it here. The tandem flight was $150 plus tip, and I added the photo/video package for $49. For an experience like this, I thought it was well worth it.
