My camera roll sure did fill up so fast after visi My camera roll sure did fill up so fast after visiting Dumbarton Oaks 🌿📱🌷

It feels like everything is fully blooming right now!! This was filmed on 4/07 and it felt like peak spring in DC. I went in thinking the wisteria would steal the show, but there were so many other flowers (and quiet corners) that I loved even more.

Quick heads up: the main area of wisteria is roped off this year, so no walking under it for pictures!

📍Georgetown, Washington, DC
🎟️ Garden tickets are required + sell out quickly (especially weekends), so definitely book in advance
⏰ Open 2–6pm, Tuesday–Sunday
💻 No on-site ticket sales

Originally designed in the early 1900s by landscape architect Beatrix Farrand, these gardens were created as a private estate and still feel like a hidden oasis in the city.

if you’re looking for a peaceful escape in the city, this place is so worth it ☀️

Your weekend plans might need to change… bluebells Your weekend plans might need to change… bluebells are peaking in Virginia right now 💙

This is your sign to go see the Virginia bluebells in bloom & go on a beautiful hike while you’re at it. Walking through a forest covered in bluebells feels like stepping into a dream. I promise photos don’t do it justice.

When I visited Bull Run Regional Park on 4/02, it was peaceful, uncrowded, and magical.

If you go, please help protect the flowers:
• Stay on marked trails
• Do not pick or damage bluebells
• Avoid stepping on flowers
• Keep noise levels low
• Leave no trace

⚠️ Travel tip: With the holiday weekend and warm weather, expect crowds, traffic, and limited parking at popular parks.

📍Best places to see bluebells in Virginia:
• Bull Run Regional Park (Centreville)
• Shenandoah River State Park
• Riverbend Park (Great Falls)
• Manassas National Battlefield Park
• Balls Bluff (Leesburg)
• Merrimac Farm (Nokesville)
• Monocacy National Battlefield
• + more across Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley

Happy hiking 🥾

15 parks down ⚾ Philly was a win (literally 😏). It 15 parks down ⚾ Philly was a win (literally 😏). It was so fun seeing the @nationals take on the @phillies on the road for once!

P.S. Park number 16 is coming this month… any guesses where I’m headed next? 👀

While in Philly, we stayed at @CourtyardMarriottNavyYard, which made game day so easy—walkable to the stadium (no parking stress) and great amenities like The Bistro for pre- or post-game bites, plus a fitness center. Huge thanks to them for hosting my friend & me, and for the ⚾️ tickets!

Are you planning to catch any baseball games this year?
