⛈️ Flight cancelled = an unexpected 24 hours in @k ⛈️ Flight cancelled = an unexpected 24 hours in @kansascity!

🧳 People always say to pack extra underwear on a trip (and honestly… they’re right). So when our flight got cancelled and we ended up stranded at our layover airport in KC, I was very glad I packed smart.

What we squeezed into our unexpected layover:
🛌 Stayed at @hotelindigokccrossroads using IHG points
🍺 Had dinner + drinks at @therockhillgrille
💣 Toured the @wwiimuseum & memorial
🚊 Explored @unionstationkc + enjoyed @parisicoffee + a @rockymountain.chocolatefactory rice crispy treat
🍗 Tried Kansas City BBQ at @jackstackbbq (the burnt ends were worth it)

➡️ If you want to know what else I always pack for trips, comment “suitcase” and I’ll send you my travel must-haves.

So tell me—what would you do if you got stranded in a city you didn’t plan on visiting? And be honest… do you pack extra underwear? 😅

Would you try a robot massage? 🤖 I recently tried Would you try a robot massage? 🤖

I recently tried the @aescape massage at the Conrad Washington DC (hosted)—a fully clothed, AI-powered massage that uses a 3D body scan to customize pressure, target areas, and more in real time.

You can book Aescape massages online at select locations across the DMV + the U.S., including the @conradwashingtondc.

🌸 Did you know Arlington, Virginia has a rotating 🌸 Did you know Arlington, Virginia has a rotating restaurant with panoramic views of Washington, DC, the Potomac River, and even the Pentagon—all while you dine? It completes a full rotation about every 45 minutes, so your view is constantly changing.

For cherry blossom season, @skydomerestaurant is offering a limited-time prix fixe menu inspired by spring, featuring seasonal dishes and drinks that make it a fun, elevated way to celebrate peak bloom. They hosted me recently to preview the menu, and I loved the Beef Bulgogi Dumpling & Crispy Garlic Miso Glazed Salmon.

Reservations are recommended and can be booked on @opentable.

$70 per person | Tuesday–Saturday through April 18.

If you’re looking for a unique spot to take in DC this time of year, this is one to add to your list.

One of my favorite spring traditions in DC — seeing the Anderson House decorated with floral installations inspired by the art and architecture inside. I love seeing the artists’ work up close & smelling the flowers.

🎧 If you love live music, this venue belongs on yo 🎧 If you love live music, this venue belongs on your bucketlist. I saw the Eagles at the @spherevegas in 2024 and now @illenium in 2026 — two completely different shows, both unforgettable. Every performance hits in a way no other venue technically can. That’s because the Sphere has:

👀 16K visuals
🔊 168,000 speakers
💡580,000 sq ft of LEDs
💨 4D wind effects
💺10,000 haptic seats

So, who would you want to play at the Sphere next?
